WHAT ARE BRAND GUIDELINES?

Brand guidelines is a document that documents what your brand values are, what you stand for and how your corporate assets should be used by designers to develop your marketing collateral. It should incorporate all of the findings from your brand strategy session that includes your brand promise, brand essence, brand vision and mission and brand personality.

These guidelines should also document how your logo should be used and how not to be used. It should list all corporate font styles, imagery direction, colour palette and language style that will represent your brand.
All Wee Brand clients get brand guidelines as part of the brand development package. We use a platform called Openbrand. This is where we store all your brand information and assets in one central location so you always have access to the right files without worrying about where you have filed them on your local hard drive. Openbrand also makes reordering print runs easy by emailing print ready files directly to your printer with a click of a button.

If you already have an established brand and want guidelines created, all we need is your logo and brand strategy findings and we can put one together for you.

WHAT OUR BRAND STRATEGY FACILITATED WORKSHOP SESSION COVERS

Our brand strategy workshop is designed to define and clarify the following areas that are the components that make up a strong brand. It is through this process that we gain a better understanding of what your brand represents, what your values are and most importantly, what your brand’s purpose is, which in turns allows us to create a visual brand that is truly reflective of your brand.

Clarity On Your Brand's Mission

WHY GO THROUGH THE BRAND STRATEGY PROCESS?

There are countless amateur designers in the marketplace offering logo design. The problem with this is that most of these designers do not have the expertise to guide clients through a brand strategy process, hence designing logos based on the environment and stereotypical icons and objects that do not reflect the business’s values or personality. This results in businesses feeling, two to three years down the track, that they have outgrown their logo and are in need of a new one. A well designed logo following the process of a brand strategy does not get outdated. Like a living human being, we change and evolve but we are essentially the same person. A good brand will grow and evolve with the growth of a business, only ever requiring refreshes,  but never a complete redevelopment.

Lin strategised an in-depth marketing plan which closely aligns with my company goals and has allowed my business to grow at a sustainable rate. The regular meetings and workshops have helped to define the finer points of each marketing campaign. It is an ongoing process and the clarity and rewards have been enormous. One of our marketing campaigns devised in the last few months has already paid for itself many times over. It has allowed me to close a deal with a major client on one of our core product offerings. The client is now a top 5 clients of the business.
